The Most Creative Job Application I Have Ever Seen!

March 20, 2013 § Leave a comment

Istanbul tattoo parlour ‘Berrge Tattoo’ decided to approach hiring new artists in a completely novel way; they had aspiring employees colour in a faded QR code to access the job application. The idea was devised by creative agency Büro with the aim of identifying the best candidates by testing their dexterity. The codes appeared in ads that were ran in a local newspaper with the information that Berrge Tattoo was looking for new employees and that anyone interested should demonstrate their skills by carefully filling in the faded code. Creative, novel, finally found a decent use for a QR code and weeded out the unworthy in one excellent advertisement – brilliant!

Other rare occasions when QR Codes aren’t completely rubbish: the Guinness QR cup and the shadow-activated QR code from Korea.
